La Coco (AKL) just released her soul-electronica EP INTO THE LIGHT. She joined Sunaina on Breakfast to talk through what went into the EP.

Her most recent single ‘Closer To Mine’ was released in August and has since made several appearances in the Radio Active Top 11, and is still appearing in the SRN Top 10 (#10 this week)! Earlier this month she performed alongside Nathan Haines at the Powerstation here in Tāmaki, and her previous EPs have also seen love from across the motu; she took home the 2020 Waiata Māori Music Best Album Award for OUT OF TIME, and she’s had several Pacific Music Award nominations.
